Could take off to really good things

I thought that this was a really good animation, the 3d was cool, and the animation was smooth. However, slightly more storyline would help, this could be the next Xiao Xiao.

Fun, simple, arcadey gameplay loop -- but this DESPERATELY needs some checkpoints. Whether it's whenever you earn a star, whenever a new enemy shows up, or just... whenever. There needs to be at least a few checkpoints to restart at so you don't just have to start at the very beginning whenever you misclick. Would happily bump rating up at least a full star with this necessary QoL improvement.
